Crunch Bars
1 bar milk chocolate
3 large handfuls of cornflakes or golden nuggets
1 tablespoon golden syrup
1 crunchy bar broken into small pieces
1 handful of dried raisins
Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Remove from heat and add the cornflakes or golden nuggets, golden syrup broken crunchy bar and raisins.
Mix together, and spoon into small baking cases or press into a baking tray. When set, remove from cases, or cut into bars.
Press evenly and chill in fridge for approx 30 mins.
It will cut into 24 bars to put in bags and bring back for children to collect.
Suggest children put their name on a bag before they start cooking and get messy or have a separate table set up for them to do this on.
