Farm Park Activities

Our Farm Park is packed full of fun!

As well as daily activities led throughout the day by our team we have lots of exciting indoor and outdoor play areas. Food is served in the *Play Barn cafe or bring a picnic and stay all day! 
An exciting day out for all the family, come rain or shine there is always something to do.

• Giant bouncy pillow
• Whizzy zip wire
• Lots of mini tractors to ride around the farm

Daily Activities in the Farm Park

Farm Park activities vary throughout the year, but weather permitting you will be able to experience the following

• Fantastic walk through aviary is home to a range of wonderful birds of prey. There are daily displays where you can watch these amazing birds in action and speak to the trainers that look after them.
• Tractor and trailer ride: Have an adventure on a real tractor around the farmland and showground.
• Small animal handling: Hold some of our smaller furry friends and pick up tips on how to look after your own pets.
• Farm Animal feed: Join us for a tour of the farm, meet the animals and help us feed them.
• You might also get the chance to groom our pony, or help wash the pigs.
• We offer daily cooking sessions during school holidays

Our daily activities are subject to change. We also run seasonal activities throughout the year.

Magical Miniature Railway and train ride in the Craft Village

Come for a ride on Derek the diesel engine, listen to him whistle and see what you can spot on your journey. Train runs every half an hour from 10.15am to 3.45pm (subject to change) weather dependant. £1
Our collection includes 1 diesel engine and 4 steam engines, our track is approximately 450 metres and is of a 7 ¼ “ gauge.

* Play Barn Cafe open weekends and school holidays from 11am to 4pm and during the week during term time from 11am to 3pm .  The Tea Rooms are open all day during opening hours.
