Planning your visit could not be easier:

  • Choose from our staff led themed days or unled play visits. Experience the countryside and spice up the curriculum – see, touch, smell and have fun in a safe environment
  • You might want to see what other schools say about us - click here.
  • To discuss your requirements and make a booking,  phone our education  officer Karen on 01268 290232, or if you prefer, e-mail karen@barleylands.co.uk
  • There is also an option to complete our online booking form
  • Challenge us to plan your day.  We often say to schools “tell us your topic and let us see what we can plan” Food and Farming is such a thematic subject that it can link to almost any subject area.
  • Once you have agreed a date and given us the relevant information you will be sent a confirmation letter which will have our risk assessments and an outline of the day along with other important information attached to it.
  • You will be invoiced directly from our accounts department unless otherwise arranged.
  • Unled groups do need to book through Karen, but have the option of paying on the day.
  • We encourage teachers/play leaders to visit the site and complete their own risk assessment. This is FREE of charge and can be arranged by phoning Karen on 01268 290232.
  • Your coach driver can collect a voucher from the Farm Park kiosk to spend in our onsite cafe.
  • On the day of your visit we will meet and greet you in the car park and escort you to your base where you will be given a brief health and safety talk and an outline of your day.
  • Take the ease out of visiting the gift shop by pre ordering gift bags. These can be ordered at the time of booking your visit. More info.
  • Never hesitate to contact us with any questions.  We are here to help.
