We have lots of local and fresh produce at Barleylands Farmers Market. Jams and chutneys, honey, cheeses, bread, meats, oils, pickles, soups, coffee, fruit & veg, herbs, plants, eggs, fish, wines & beers, cakes & pastries, chillies, pies and juices. Every second and last Saturday of the month.

Essex Country Show 2013

What was once an Essex farming family's informal gathering of half a dozen steam engines is now the largest event of its type in the South East, with an average of 35,000 visitors for the last 6 years.
The show, with an emphasis on agricultural history and rural crafts, is now in its 27th year.
Whether it's the size and power of the steam engines - which you can steer yourself - helicopter rides, specialist food hall, children's amusements, arena events or the huge variety of over 200 craft and trade stands, we cater for the whole family.
