School Visit – Education Programme Costs

Our award winning Education Team offer a huge array of themed Guided Visits, Self-Guided Visits, Outreach Visits (including our hatching programme, assemblies and workshops) and bespoke options.

We have a large FREE car park for coaches and cars and we offer coach drivers a voucher which can be redeemed for a free tea or coffee in the Tiptree Tea Room. Vouchers can be obtained from the Farm Park kiosk.

  • Self-Guided Visits from £9.00 per person

    For registered groups, you require more than 15 paying customers to obtain group rates (no minimum required for SEN groups).

    During your group visit, you can enjoy the daily activities in the Farm Park, an undercover animal barn, tractor and trailer rides, a visit to our discovery barn and reptile house, bird spotting in our Aviary, and lots of outdoor play.

    Costs excluding VAT: £9.00 per person, September to May and £9.50 per person, June & July. Free group leader/staff places are available dependent on the number of paying children in the group. The group booking includes a FREE child ticket for all children over 2 to come back and visit the farm.  This ticket is not valid against any future school/group visits)s.  Please enquire for further details.

    If you are bringing a large group, you can upgrade to have your own personal tractor ride, free animal feed, and an undercover base  (extra £1 per person).

    Group visits during school holidays and weekends are £12.00 per person (including VAT).  If we have a base/party room available at the weekend, this can be booked out between 10am-2pm for a small charge of £25.00.

  • Guided Visits from £12 per child

    Guided visits are facilitated by our trained education team.

    Choose from a variety of themed cross curricular days or liaise with our Education Team to create a bespoke day to fit your curriculum needs and topic. These extremely educational days link with science, technology, history, geography, psche, literacy and maths and are adapted to suit all key stages.

    Costs excluding VAT: September to May £12.00 per child and June to July £13.00 per child. With guided visits, we offer one free adult to every six paying children. Adults accompanying SEN children are also free of charge. Please note our Habitats and Food Chains Day carries an additional cost of £1.00 per child as this includes a session from the Imperial Birds of Prey team.

    For groups bringing fewer than 22 children there is a minimum charge of £265 (excluding VAT) during September to May and £285 (excluding VAT) during June and July for staff led days.

  • Gift Bags from 50p

    If children are bringing spending money, please let us know in advance and we will prepare your gift bags ready for you to take away at the end of the day. For more information, click here.

  • Outreach Programme

    Prices are on application and start from £250 excluding vat.
