Teachers Open Morning 21st September
Are you are a primary school teacher looking for an innovative outdoor learning experience?
Then come and meet our Education Officer in the Farm Park on Saturday 21st September 10am – 12pm. Take a tour of our outdoor classroom and learn how we link our themed days to the curriculum. Free entry for you and your family*!
Visits to Barleylands are tailor made and allow children to –
- Gain a better understanding of where their food comes from
- Get up close to the animals and explore our wildlife area
- Cook a healthy snack from scratch to take back to school
- See crops growing and harvest fruit and vegetables from our polytunnel
- Grind wheat into flour and expire farming techniques in our discover barn
- Enjoy a tractor and trailer ride
