This Halloween, as part of Spooky Nights, Barleylands Farm Park will be banning those in clown costume.

Held after dark on 28th & 29th October, Spooky Nights are two evenings packed with thrills, spills and chills for tots to young teens.  Barleylands are committed to providing a family friendly atmosphere for children and adults of all ages throughout the event,  and with the recent killer clown sightings hitting the headlines, they have made the decision to refuse entry to those dressed as clowns. Said Farm Park Manager Dave Finkle:

“We’re committed to making Spooky Nights fun but safe for all visitors this half term. We are proud to be the only Halloween attraction in Essex that caters purely for young families, we’re not a scream park or fright night attraction. We’re banning clowns to make sure all our visitors feel safe and secure throughout the event.”

As always, there will be plenty of spooktactular family friendly activities taking place throughout the  Spooky Nights event. Halloween happenings include the popular safe but spooky Trick or Treating around The Village, the Heebie-Jeebies Haunted House, NEW for 2016, and plenty of tots rides and spooky stories for the little ones.

Most importantly, Barleylands have ensured that all scares taking place throughout the event are clearly rated from U to 12A meaning parents can be sure which rides and activities are suitable for their children.
