Barleylands Village Festive Fayre 27th & 28th November – Stallholders Preview Part 1

Barleylands Festive Fayre 2021 is set to be bigger and better than ever! As always our fayre is a FREE, fun event all in aid of a good cause – this year our chosen charity is St Luke’s Hospice in Basildon.

Amongst all of our unique, and varying regular studio tenants, our Festive Fayre boasts an array of different stalls, all from small, local, or independent businesses. Here is a sneak preview of just a few of the stallholders that will be attending over the weekend…

BAR:SUDS

First up we have BAR:SUDS an Essex made and run ‘back to basics’ soap company using all 100% natural ingredients, with moisturising properties built in – which makes them especially good for the cold winter months! Not only do BAR:SUDS products look and smell delicious, they are also zero waste and plastic free. In Amanda’s (Chief Soaper) own words, quite simply, they are “better for the skin, better for the planet!”. Check out BAR:SUDS website here: https://www.barsuds.co.uk/

Harklin Creations

Next up we have Harklin Creations, Harklin Creations is another local, small business, run by mum of 2 Lauren, selling gorgeous handmade clay jewellery. Every piece sold is handcrafted by Lauren herself, from the colour creating, to the designing and shaping of pieces, as she says herself she loves what she does, and we think it really shows in her lovely creations! Temprd Chocolate

One for the foodies is Temprd Chocolate, an Essex based family run chocolate business. Temprd Chocolate’s aim was to create chunky, luxury, rich slabs of chocolate in a variety of flavours; their current flavour count is 14, ranging from a more basic Smooth Milk, or Creamy White chocolate, to more exotic sounding flavours such as Caramel Apple Crumble, and Honeycomb & Popping Candy! Temprd Chocolate operates a “No Bull” policy; meaning they are sustainable, local – all ingredients, packaging, and promo materials are sourced in the UK where possible – and totally free of single use plastic.
