Christmas Tickets Now On Sale!

Guess Who’s Coming to Barleylands?…

As you are no doubt aware, December will be a particularly demanding month for Father Christmas, so we are absolutely THRILLED that he has, once again, managed to fit Barleylands Farm Park into his incredibly tight schedule. In fact, he enjoyed himself so much last year that he asked if he could possibly start on the 26th November. Apparently, the children he met were superb and the mince pies were also top quality so… Win Win!

There will be a huge demand for tickets, and they must be booked in advance, so we recommend that you book without delay to avoid disappointment. Father Christmas has promised to stay with us right up until Christmas Eve. He really is warm and wonderful!

A team of efficient (and very attractive) elves will be on hand to keep Father Christmas fed, watered and on task. The elves will meet and greet your family at the appointed magical hour. Once you have been checked in, your first stop will be to call on Mother Christmas. Although she is flat out busy with her baking, wrapping and knitting, she always has time to stop and do some crafting when visitors appear. This year, she will help you to make a decoration to take home and hang on your Christmas tree.

The elves will then take you through the Winter Walkway. It’s a magical and sparkly place, so be sure to take photos as you explore. When the time is just right, the elves will take you into Santa’s cosy Grotto. It’s difficult to explain what this bit will be like! Other people have tried, but nobody has ever been QUITE able to explain it in words. Suffice to say, you will leave the Grotto with your eyes as big as saucers and a fluttery, tingly feeling all the way to your toes.

If Father Christmas is pleased with you (and we KNOW he will be…), the elves will take you into their workshop and let you choose any gift you like! Just remember to say thank you; the elves work incredibly hard and they ALWAYS remember polite children.

Don’t be disappointed when your special visit comes to an end. All the farm animals will be waiting to see you and, if you get chilly, you can sit in the warmth of the Christmas Kitchen and decorate a Gingerbread Man. Your ticket includes all day access to the Farm Park, so be sure to explore all of the outdoor and indoor activities before, and after, your magical Christmas Visit.
