👻 Mystery Box Halloween Trail. Starting THIS Saturday (24th October 2026)!
Follow the trail and see if you can idenitfy which spooky characters are hiding in our mystery boxes. Every participant will receive a prize for taking part, making it a lovely little adventure for our younger visitors.
And that’s not all… there’s a raffle prize draw happening at the end of Half Term, more details can be found here.
👗 Prom Season Starts Here!
If you’re starting to think about Prom 2027, Ivy Blu Prom (Studio 59) is the place to be booking this Half Term. Ivy Blu are openning lots of prom appointments, starting Tuesday 20th October, making it the perfect time to find your dream dress.
Get Creative at Peacock Pottery Barn
Looking for hands-on activity to keep little hands busy this Half Term? The Peacock Pottery Barn will be open EVERY DAY of the School Holidays.
Choose from a fantastic selection of ready-to-paint Halloween pottery, including pumpkins, spooky characters and haunted houses, then let your imagination run wild!
Prefer to get a little more hands-on? You can also book one of the ‘Children’s Clay to Finished Pot’ sessions, giving young creatives the chance to discover the magic of working with clay and turning their ideas into something special.
🍬 Sweet Treats & Spooky Sweets
No Halloween adventure would be complete without a little something sweet!
Our resident sweet shop (The Bon Bon Jar, Studio 19, opposite Peacock Pottery Barn) will be open and have plenty of tempting treats. With Halloween-themed sweets perfect for stocking up this Half Term. Fancy something a little different, look out for the shop’s much-loved American favourites from across the pond. From USA candy to Harry Potter-themed chocolate frogs, there are plenty of goodies to discover.
Sunday 25th October: Our Monthly Market Gets a Halloween Twist!
Our much-loved monthly market returns on Sunday 25th October, and as always, entry is completely FREE!
Come along to browse local stalls, discover independent makers and enjoy some delicious food and drink. It’s a wonderful opportunity to support small businesses, find something unique and soak up the atmosphere of The Village.
But this month, we have a little extra magic in store…
We’ll be welcoming some special Half Term characters, including our very own mascot, Barley! And for fans of a certain mischievous blue alien, we have something particularly exciting…💙 626 is coming to the Village for THREE meet-and-greet sessions!
There’s no need to book. Simply come along, enjoy the market and join the queue for your chance to meet this much-loved character.
💎 Get Your Sparkle On at Clink Club
Fancy trying something creative this Half Term without having to deal with the glittery aftermath at home? We have just the thing!
At Clink Club, you can now design and make your very own beaded jewellery. Whether you love colourful bracelets, personalised accessories or creating something completely unique, it’s a lovely way to spend a little time getting creative. You can simply walk in or book ahead through their website. Keep your eyes peeled for their pumpkin bead and bling workshops, taking place on selected days throughout the school holiday.
👾 Games, Collectables & Pokémon Goodies at Offworld Outpost
The perfect place to browse, discover new favourites and see what treasures you can add to your collection. There are loads of games and collectables to explore, and there’s even more reason to visit this Half Term thanks to a huge restock of Pokémon goodies!
☕ Autumn Comforts at Tiptree Tearooms
All that exploring, crafting and shopping is bound to work up an appetite… Tiptree Tearooms provide the perfect pit stop. Whether you’re stopping for breakfast, refuelling over lunch or taking a well-earned break with a hot drink and something delicious, it’s a lovely place to take a break during your Village visit.
The tearooms have recently refreshed their breakfast and lunch menus, alongside a brand-new autumn drinks menu. Think seasonal sips, comforting favourites and a cosy break from the October weather.
Open daily from 9:30am to 4pm.
💆 A Little Half Term Rest & Recovery at Escape
Half Term can be just as exhausting for grown-ups as it is exciting for the children! If you’re in need of some well-deserved rest and recovery, Escape has some appointments available, offering the perfect opportunity to slow down and take a little time for yourself.
Head to Studio 39, Ground Level of The Village.
🧀 Stock Up with Leigh’s Cheese Truck
As the evenings get darker and the nights get cosier, there’s nothing quite like settling down on the sofa with a favourite cheese, a handful of biscuits and something lovely to drink. Thankfully, Leigh’s Cheese Truck will be open daily throughout the week, giving you plenty of opportunities to pick up your favourites.
There are also some extra evening opportunities to stock up, with the truck open from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on Thursday 29th, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October.
