Visitor Hosts (part time, weekends/holidays/evenings) – Farm Park

The Role

Can you bring a smile to people’s faces? The team create a fun, interactive and dynamic experience for our visitors in a range of environments from outdoor farm park locations with our animals, to Indoor play areas and party venues.  Creating memorable experiences for each and every customer is our aim and working alongside children and animals is something we positively encourage!

  • Delivering great customer service to our guests.
  • Participating & Leading activities
  • Animal Handling
  • Maintain & Deliver the Brands Product/Standards.
  • Hosting Play Barn Parties during evenings.

The Individual:

The role of the Visitor Host is, first and foremost, a customer service role. Therefore you will need to be friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with a variety of guests. A positive attitude, with flexibility, mobility and alertness are required to perform in this role.

Education Assistant

Barleylands seek an enthusiastic and lively individual to join their award winning  Education Team hosting school visits.

The role will involve leading a group of children with accompanying adults, imparting knowledge, facilitating hands on activities, checking that learning objectives are being met and establishing a rapport with the group.

Experience in working with children at KS1 and KS2 would be an advantage but not essential. . More importantly you will possess strong communication skills, be able to use your own initiative, be adaptable to an ever changing working environment and be willing to absorb and relay information regarding Food, Farming and the Countryside

Working hours predominantly term time, between 8.45 and 3.30 according to demand.
