Farmyard Friends (NEW for 2026/27):
Farmyard Friends – a less structured visit which includes a guide for the morning and free time after lunch. Suitable for all ages.
If you are looking for a farm visit where you will meet all our lovely farmyard friends but have plenty of time to explore the park and our many play areas, then this is the day for you.
What it includes:
- You will have a guide for the morning who will introduce you to our lovely farmyard friends and have the opportunity to watch our birds of prey show (subject to weather).
- Enjoy a tractor and trailer ride
- Groups will have a base for lunch (base is available 10.00 a.m. until 2.00p.m.)
- We have plenty of picnic areas to enjoy during dry weather.
- Free time after lunch to enjoy the park.
Learning outcomes for all age groups: Personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) education, Living in the Wide World.
Costs:
We require a minimum of 15 children
Costs September to May: £12.50 excluding VAT
Costs June and July: £13.50 excluding VAT
Free adult/group leader places, depending on the size of your group, and under 2’s are £2.00 excluding VAT.
The visit includes a FREE child ticket for all children over 2 to come back and visit the farm. This ticket is not valid against any future school/group visits.
We provide you with a risk assessment and once your booking is confirmed, we invite two members of staff to come for a pre visit free of charge.
We have a large FREE car park for coaches and cars and we offer coach drivers a voucher to exchange for tea/coffee in the Tiptree Tea Room.
